Ethereal World explores our deep connections with special places. Stories from volunteers reveal how places offer peace, joy, and a sense of refuge. These environments often feel timeless and extraordinary, providing unique bonds between people and their surroundings. ​

The spiral symbolises the journey from the physical to the ethereal, representing growth and transformation. Objects within vessels capture the volunteer's memories and connections to these places.  ​

​The work invites the viewer to ponder their relationships with place and the natural world, the emotions and connections that arise, and the power of these to liberate ​energy in unexpected ways. The vessels hold the collected objects of memory. ​

​The work was initially displayed in the landscape and incorporated the sights and sounds of nature. Viewers were encouraged to sit, pick-up and explore the pieces and objects. ​
